The WSOP wrapped up its Main Event final table last week, and the circus is finally gone after another eventful summer camp in Las Vegas.
But it's Las Vegas, and we don't stop playing poker just because the WSOP left town. You can always find a game around here, and usually with a much cheaper hot dog.
No matter where you might toss the dart on the calendar, you'll find something to play, so we did a deep dive on the schedule to map out the rest of 2026.
The WSOP circus has finally left town, but we don't stop. The regulars
One of the most reliable tournament spots in town is Venetian, where you can play a deep stack every day. Buy-ins range from $300 to $600, and there is always something going. The same goes for Wynn, where you can enjoy one of the more premium experiences on The Strip.
Wynn will also host its Signature Series this fall, with regular $400 events with six-figure guarantees.
Regular value options include Orleans and South Point, where you can find tournaments from $100-$200 every day. They're locals-friendly spots, as well, so you'll get cheaper food and a more laid-back experience. Both rooms will also offer regular mixed games.
Most other poker rooms around town will have a regular offering of daily tournaments, and they can be convenient if you are staying nearby.
The PGT PLO Series is back this fall.
High stakes fall festival(s)
If you're playing at a higher level, or if you just want to stop by and watch those who are, the PokerGO Tour will be back on the beat with its fall schedule.
The PLO series returns to the PokerGO Studio from Sept 23-30, with six events and a $26,000 Championship at the end. It rolls right into the Super High Roller Bowl PLO VI, where the best in the world will pile in for a $103,000 buy-in on October 5.
A few days later, Super High Roller Bowl XI rolls out on Oct. 8 with a $103,000 buy-in for no-limit hold'em players. Three different $26,000 NLH events will scatter themselves in between to make up a complete Super High Roller Series.
The breakneck high-stakes fall schedule continues right away with Poker Masters, a 10-event PGT major at the PokerGO Studio from Oct. 12-22. That's all that is announced for now, but expect more information on the PGT Last Chance and the PGT Championship to drop soon.
When will the WPT Championship return to Las Vegas?WPT Championship?
Lurking at the end of the 2026 schedule is the biggest question of them all. Will the World Poker Tour return to the December slot with its WPT Championship, or will they be the first to blink in the Winter Poker Wars? They could easily slide into a much emptier January slot at Wynn, but no one likes to lose.
Nothing is official on the WPT schedule yet, so we will continue to wait for official information. Meanwhile, half the poker world is already booked for The Bahamas, with dozens of WSOP Circuit winners to follow throughout the fall and winter.
Regardless of the WPT's game plan, Las Vegas will be here, and we will be playing poker either way.
