It’s an exciting new time in the online poker world as PokerStars has merged with FanDuel, bringing together ‘the OG of poker' and the 'MVP of gaming.’ The new site is now live across legal US states (Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania), and the province of Ontario in Canada, with Alberta expected to be added in the coming months.
It’s a marriage of online poker, casino and sportsbook on a single top-notch platform, so let’s show you how to get into the action and what you can look forward to.
Getting in the game
The PokerStars on FanDuel landing page has all you’ll need to get started with a QR code to download the app on iOS and Android, along with a download link for the desktop software.
From there, it’s just a couple of clicks more to set up your account with a username and password (with the added security of two-factor authentication available). Once your account has been set up, depositing funds is as easy as clicking the cashier button and adding funds via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal. Deposits are virtually instantaneous, and you’ll be in the game before you know it.
