It's football season in the United States and, with it, comes the start of Spin & Field Goal on PokerStars on FanDuel.

The rebranded lottery sit & go format offers the same high intensity, fast-paced action – but with a facelift for football fans across the country.

In terms of overall strategy, nothing changes – you're still battling it out against two opponents for a set prize pool determined by the multiplier. With the potential to turn $5 into $1,000,000, the Spin & Field Goal promotion offers players of all bankroll sizes a shot at a massive payday.

It's football season and that means one thing: time to fire up the Spin & Field Goal games to take your shot at a $1M payday.

The summer of jackpots

Over the summer, we saw three Spin & Go jackpots hit for big numbers on PokerStars' global platform – and all within a month of each other.

In mid-July, Denmark's 'dillerfar19' caught a lucky spin and found themselves playing for – and winning – a seven-figure prize. The Dane triumphed over Brazilian 'malakaio300' (2nd, $120,000) and Belarusian 'KuCoH' (3rd, $80,000) to take down the top prize.

Only a few days later, Argentina's 'Anatsuk334' hit a jackpot of their own in a $5 Spin & Go. 'StephanShakes', of Switzerland, took the second place prize of $120,000 while the Ukraine's 'Grozovalra' took home the third-place prize of $80,000.

The following month, the jackpot hit again. This time it was 'Gwaugh1' from the United Kingdom who walked away as a newly-minted Spin & Go millionaire. Hungarian 'Kepes897' had to settle for the $120,000 runner-up prize while Denmark's 'g3t real' pocketed the $80,000 third-place score.

While it's unlikely that the jackpots continue to hit at this rate (it is a 1 in 100,000,000 shot, after all) the Spin & Field Goal promotion can turn you into an overnight millionaire – if you're lucky.
