PokerStars’ Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) is one of the highlights of the calendar for online players. A huge range of tournaments, each with Low, Medium and High buy-in levels, means there’s something in the schedule for everyone.

Dedicated series are running right now until April 22 in Ontario, Pennsylvania and the combined player pool of Michigan/New Jersey. There are big guarantees - not least for the Main Events on April 21 - and plenty of options, so if you’re in those areas check out our guide to SCOOP in North America.

The rest of the world has a little longer to wait, with the global series running from May 5-29 and a schedule still to be announced.

And for those online players who are counting the days, we’ve got good news: we’ve got together with PokerStars Team Pro’s Lex Veldhuis to collect some of his best SCOOP videos in one place.

Lex shows us how it’s done... literally

Veldhuis has been a PokerStars ambassador pretty much since poker was invented, so if anyone knows his way around the SCOOP tables, it’s him. His streams do a great job of showing how to navigate the big fields of SCOOP tourneys, at every buy-in level available.

For example, if you’ve got your eyes on the Low level tourneys you might be interested in his journey to the final table of last year’s $5.50 6+ PKO.

And if you’re aiming high, check out when he made it to heads-up in last year’s $3,150 High Roller.

But these are just appetizers. Hit the link to see the full menu of Lex Veldhuis’ BEST SCOOP moments. Incredibly, despite getting so close on many occasions, Veldhuis is still waiting for his first SCOOP title. Is 2024 going to be the year? We'll keep you up to date with all of his SCOOP scrapes.
