BetRivers Poker has officially launched Splash the Pot – a new cash game feature that randomly adds bonus money to pots, giving players both added value and high-energy situational moments during standard play.
The Splash the Pot feature will be familiar to any players who put in volume on the Run It Once Poker platform – founded by Phil Galfond and later sold to Rush Street Interactive, the owners of BetRivers Poker – and is now available across all cash games on the BetRivers Poker site.
“Splash the Pot is something we’ve believed in for a long time,” said Jason Senti, Head of Poker at BetRivers Poker. “Players loved it at Run It Once, and we wanted it to be a foundational part of BetRivers Poker from day one. It adds a dynamic element to cash games, creates real moments of excitement, and rewards all players at the table in a way that supports the long-term health of the overall ecosystem.”
Phil Galfond, founder of Run It Once, has long been a proponent of the Splash the Pot rewards. How Splash the Pot works and BIG SPLASH
At the onset of randomly selected cash game hands, extra money falls – seemingly from the sky – onto the table. When a Splash the Pot occurs, the bonus money is added directly into the pot before any betting takes place. Once the money hits the middle of the table, the hand plays out in standard fashion and the winner of the pot takes the extra cash.
