The latest leg of the 888poker LIVE UK Poker League (UKPL) sees the tour visit the wonderful English city of Leeds.
The UKPL Leeds stop kicks off today, August 27, and runs through September 1. The week-long event, held at the Grosvenor Casino Westgate, offers a wide range of buy-ins and promises a friendly reception, whether you're new to the game or a grizzled veteran.
If you're new to live poker and you need inspiration, check out our column from 888poker ambassador Nick Eastwood about the Manchester leg of the UKPL. Eastwood tells the story of how Jamie ‘Zild’ Heckle qualified to the Main Event through a $12 satellite (from a ticket he won in a freeroll) and ended up third for £16,170 – in his first ever live event.
If you want to play at Leeds for a reduced price, there are a number of live satellites planned at the Grosvenor. See the full schedule below for details.
