GGPoker's World Series of Poker Online has reached its climactic phase. Day 1A of the $5,000 WSOP Online Main Event kicked off on Sunday.
Day 1A attracted 437 entries, putting $2.18 million in the pot before rake.
This is a good start, which GGPoker needs.
The poker site has guaranteed a prize pool of at least $20 million. With eight total Day 1s — and a tendency for later Day 1s to be bigger than earlier Day 1s — the company has an excellent chance of coming out well in the black on this guarantee.
