It was a quicker day here at Caesar's Southern Indiana in the $1,700 WSOPC Main Event. Coming into the day, all 43 players had ensured themselves a piece of the $427,230 prize pool, generated by the 282 entrants. As the dust settled at the tail end of Level 21 just 9 remain in the hunt for the $93,060.

- 6th: $16,400

A familiar faces sits atop of the final table as 10-time WSOPC ring winner Hamid Izadi (2,620,000) sits with the overall lead. Coming into the day with the second largest stack, Izadi suffered some early setbacks in a clash with Robert Hankins that saw him dip down to the middle of the pack. He would later bounce back and then some as he became the first player in the field to cross two million. Sitting with over 100 bigs in his stack Izadi sits with a chance to become the second player ever to win four WSOPC mains as well as one of only a handful to have gone back to back at a circuit main event.
The only other player over 2 million in chips is Ohio's Bradford Albrinck (2,485,000). Albrinck's poker tournament career goes back 18 years, with over $2 million in live career tournament earnings. In 2013 he won his first WSOPC main event in Ohio, with his second coming in 2016 in Cherokee. With the second largest stack of the players remaining, he looks to tie with Izadi in 3 total WSOPC Main Event titles and further deepen his legacy on the poker tournament circuit.
Robert Hankins (1,100,000) and Donald Crabtree (290,000) sit as the two other WSOPC Main Event winners in the field, with Hankins having won this event 10 years ago. All of the other players are looking for their first WSOPC ring, with Debbie Lee (305,000) having made her fifth WSOPC Main Event final table in the past 2 years.

Day 2 Action
The day started with a bang as Robert Hankins took out three players at once, eliminating Thomas Inman (43rd- $3,410), Richard Sager (42nd-$3,410), and Matthew Kovitch (41st-$3,410) at the same time. Others began to fall throughout the day like Ryan Brown (37th-$3,410), Caio De Lucca Sobral (32nd-$3,410), John Ford (29th-$3,410), and WSOP bracelet winner Alan Percal (27th-$3,410). With Percal's elimination, the final three tables were reached.
Debbie Lee became the first player to cross one million with her elimination of Jefferson Morrill (26th-$3,580), with Hamid Izadi climbing up behind her as he eliminated Edward Arnold (24th-$3,580). A rivered set for Bradford Albrinck would send out Devon Sturges (20th-$3,580) and he would take out Austin Mccullers (19th-$3,580) shortly after, becoming one of the biggest stacks in the tournament.
David Yue rose up to be one of the largest stacks with his elimination of Kelly Wolfe (16th-$4,150) as he, Izadi, and Albrinck jockeyed for the chip lead. Izadi continued to climb with the eliminations of James Rion (15th-$4,150) and Peter Froelich (14th-$4,150), while Albrinck sent out George Coleman (13th-$4,930) to remain close with Izadi. At the other table, Yue ran into some turbulence as he doubled up Maurice Hawkins, Robert Hankins, and Jake Gribbins.
He would opt to get his last chips in with ten-nine suited against Hawkins' threes and Hankins' ace-king. An ace-high board would spell the end for both players as Yue collected $4,930 for his 12th place finish. Sitting with more chips than Yue but eliminated in the same hand was the 26 WSOPC ring winner as his run to a 27th title and 7th main event title came to close here today. Hawkins collected $5,990 for his 11th place finish and the final table of ten was set.
Beginning the final table with five big blinds, Bobby Poe could not find a ladder up and his jack-ten off suite got in against Christopher "GTO4OMC" Dame's ace-queen suited. Despite picking up a gutter and a flush draw, Poe could not improve against Dame's pair of aces and he took his leave in tenth place, worth $5,990.
Play ended with 1:15 left in Level 21, with blinds at 15,000/25,000 and a 25,000 big blind ante. All of the remaining players will return at noon tomorrow and play down until a winner is crowned.
